STANDARD HOODS
All canopy hoods are constructed of 16 and 18 gauge steel. Joints are welded liquid tight without seams, utilizing an automatic wire feed mig welder.

Our canopy hoods come in three styles; Deluxe, which is all stainless steel, Economy, which is all aluminized steel, and Hybrid, which has a stainless steel front and sides and an aluminized steel top and back.

All canopy hoods are built to exacting standards and are in accordance with NFPA 96 and NSF specifications. Grease trough, made from lightweight aluminized steel, is engineered to receive grease extracted by the filters which are the baffle type, 20" wide and carry a UL listing. All hoods are prewired for quick installation.

EXHAUST FANS
Our exhaust fans are constructed with heavy gauge aluminum and feature a 3 year warranty on all electric motors. Direct drive motors and belt drive motors are encased in a weather-tight compartment. All drives are factory set.

Our exhaust fans feature horsepower ranges from ¼ to 5, and have an RPM range of 850 to 1725, and a CFM range of 1061 to 10,879, depending on the model.

SUPPLY FANS (Make Up Air / Tempered Make Up Air)
Our supply fans feature an aluminized steel construction and come with belt driven motors encased in weather-tight compartments. All drives are factory set. Supply fans have a CFM range of 800-9500, and a horsepower range of ¼ to 5 depending on the models. And all have an RPM of 1725.

VENTLESS HOODS
American Hood has the answer to a portable way of clearing the air. No ductwork and no special venting is required. Just plug in and clear the air. Ventless hoods feature a patented triple filter. No makeup air or roof modification is needed. Integrated wet chemical fire suppression. HEPA filter final stage filtration. Constructed of heavy gauge stainless steel and all seams are welded liquid tight.
